The Democratic Party has designated the Digital Asset Basic Law as its top legislative priority for the second half of the year, according to Digital Assets. Representative Park Sang-hyeok, the ruling party's rapporteur on the Financial Committee, stated in a Seoul Shinmun interview on July 11 that the Digital Asset Basic Law and the Mega Special Zone Special Act were selected as key legislative focuses for the second half of the year.
Park added that the Digital Asset Basic Law aims to foster advanced capital markets and positive cycles, while the Mega Special Zone Special Act could serve as a catalyst for balanced regional growth and locally driven development.
