Denmark Condemns Russia for Firing Flares at Military Helicopter in Baltic Sea

The Danish Defense Command stated that on April 14, a Russian frigate fired two flares toward a Danish Air Force Fennec helicopter conducting surveillance over international waters in the Baltic Sea, with one flare passing close to the aircraft. Denmark's Foreign Ministry summoned Russia's Ambassador Vladimir Barvin on April 15 regarding the incident.

Barvin claimed that the Danish helicopter performed dangerous and provocative maneuvers near Russian naval vessels.
