Deutsche Bank to Offer Crypto Custody Services for German Institutional Clients

Deutsche Bank is advancing plans to offer custody and transfer services for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and certain stablecoins to institutional and corporate clients in Germany. Bloomberg reported that the bank aims to provide these services later this year, pending regulatory approval. Initial offerings will target German clients, with future expansion planned to include tokenized financial products. Key client segments include asset managers, hedge funds, custodian banks, securities firms, sovereign wealth funds, and corporations. Digital asset firms are also expected to be included as a separate customer group.
