Digital X Rebrands from Korbit, Completes Mirae Asset Integration

Digital X announced on the 16th that it is changing its service name from the previous 'Korbit' to 'Digital X,' along with overhauling all services including domain, following Mirae Asset Group integration after a corporate name change in August.
The overhaul includes changes to official domain (digitalx.miraeasset.com), app icon, and brand identity (BI), while asset holdings, transaction history, deposits, withdrawals, and trading methods remain unchanged. The existing app will transition through an update.
Digital X plans to conduct a phased conversion process to ensure no inconvenience for users after the rebranding, along with official announcements. It also urged users to verify all information via official channels to avoid phishing attempts mimicking the service name and domain change.
Oh Se-jin, CEO of Digital X, stated that this rebranding marks not just a name change but the beginning of a new leap together with Mirae Asset Group. He added that building on the principle of 'customer asset protection' since becoming South Korea's first exchange, they will continue to introduce practical products and services for users.
