DigitalX Strengthens Anti-Phishing Measures with Shinhan Bank

DigitalX, a virtual asset investment platform, held a seminar with Shinhan Bank at the bank's Seoul headquarters on October 15th to strengthen their collaborative response to emerging phishing attacks. This marks their second such seminar since 2023.
The seminar was organized ahead of the implementation of new anti-phishing regulations introduced by the Financial Services Commission and Financial Supervisory Service in June, focusing on practical measures to address evolving financial fraud threats. Topics included Shinhan Bank's anti-phishing framework, common phishing types targeting virtual asset platforms, and joint prevention strategies.
DigitalX's AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and FDS (Fraud Detection System) teams participated in the seminar to integrate crime fund tracking with anomaly detection for enhanced fraud response. The platform is preparing internal procedures and systems ahead of October 1st implementation, aiming to expand cooperation with financial institutions and further develop its AML/FDS framework.
