DIGY11 Bitcoin-Linked ETF B3 Listing Delayed, New Date Unspecified

Brazil's B3 exchange has delayed the listing of DIGY11, a bitcoin-linked ETF originally scheduled to begin trading on September 11. In a notice issued on September 10, B3 stated that due to a request from the fund manager, the second market trading for DIGY11 will not proceed as planned. The exchange added that a new trading date will be announced separately once determined.
DIGY11 is an investment product that does not directly invest in bitcoin (BTC), but instead targets preferred shares issued by companies holding significant bitcoin holdings. Orange BTC disclosed that the ETF holds preferred shares from Strats and Strive, among others, tracking the MarketVector Bitcoin Treasury Preferred Equity BRL Hedged Index.
