Domestic Exchanges See 14% Weekly Trading Volume Increase...Upbit's Share Rises by 3%

South Korea's top five digital asset exchanges recorded a weekly trading volume of 1.74 trillion won, a 14% increase from the previous week's 1.52 trillion won.
The data, analyzed as of September 18 (KST), covers the period from 2 p.m. on September 11 to 2 p.m. on September 18, totaling approximately 17.4 trillion won in weekly trading volume.
This marks the first time weekly trading volume has exceeded 17 trillion won since April 10-17, when it reached about 17.5 trillion won, roughly six months ago.
Upbit maintained its top position with a market share of 67.75%, up 3.289 percentage points from the previous week. Bithumb saw its share drop to 24.18%, down 3.347 percentage points, while Coinone remained in third place at 6.66%, down 0.128 percentage points.
DigitalX (formerly Coubit) increased slightly to 1.39% (+0.19 percentage points), and GoPax fell marginally to 0.02% (-0.004 percentage points).
