ETH Wallet Attack Results in $7.7M Theft, rsETH Address Frozen

Stolen rsETH worth $7.7 million (approximately 104 billion won) from an Ethereum wallet attack was secured by a MEV bot, according to reports. The incident occurred when an attacker attempted to exploit a custom Safe module. CoinTelegraph reported that the 'Yoink' MEV bot outpaced the attacker's transaction to claim the stolen rsETH. MEV bots are automated programs that profit by processing transactions ahead of others on the blockchain. Kelp later froze the receiving address where the rsETH was sent, as reported by CoinTelegraph.
