Ethereum 140K Withdrawn from Exchanges Over Four Days, Analyst Says Sell Pressure Easing

Over the past four days, approximately 140,000 Ethereum (ETH) tokens have exited exchanges, according to an analysis that suggests selling pressure is easing.

On April 14 (local time), cryptocurrency analyst Ali Martinez announced on X that "over the last 96 hours, approximately 140,000 ETH has been withdrawn from exchanges," representing a value of about $350 million.

Martinez interprets this large-scale withdrawal as a signal that investors are becoming more inclined to hold rather than trade. Typically, when cryptocurrency moves from exchanges to external wallets, the immediate sellable supply decreases.

"Investors are increasingly choosing to hold over trading," Martinez stated, adding that with fewer ETH available on exchanges, potential selling pressure is decreasing, which could support a bullish breakout.
