Ethereum Coin Margin Longs Surge 5.72% as Solana Dollar Accounts Rise 4.43%

According to CoinGlass data as of 9:15 a.m. on October 20, Ethereum's long position share in coin collateral rose sharply to 79.63%, up +5.72 percentage points from the previous day. This represents the largest change within the collateral range. In contrast, XRP remained at 81.98% with only a -0.17 percentage point shift, while Bitcoin also saw a slight decline to 70.60% (-0.03 percentage points), highlighting a clear concentration toward Ethereum.
In USDT collateral positions, XRP increased significantly to 69.23%, up +4.17 percentage points, while Bitcoin rose slightly to 67.43% (+1.00 percentage point). Ethereum stood at 62.08% (+0.64 percentage points), and Solana at 70.58% (+0.68 percentage points), showing limited fluctuations. Dogecoin remained relatively stable at 79.65% (+0.05 percentage points).
On the account basis, USDT collateral saw a notable rise in Solana's long holding accounts to 65.97%, up +4.43 percentage points from the previous day. Bitcoin increased to 52.18% (+2.60 percentage points), and Ethereum to 55.13% (+2.59 percentage points). Dogecoin saw a modest rise to 75.55% (+1.10 percentage points), while XRP remained at 73.30% (+0.15 percentage points).
Coin collateral accounts showed minimal movement overall, with Ethereum's change being the largest at +0.10 percentage points. Bitcoin stood at 70.59% (-0.08 percentage points), XRP at 82.51% (+0.06 percentage points), Solana at 78.50% (-0.05 percentage points), and Dogecoin at 87.21% (-0.01 percentage points), all remaining close to previous levels.
