Ethereum Whale Moves 21,200 ETH to Bitfinex, Realizes $66.45M Profit

A whale or institutional address estimated to have held Ethereum (ETH) for three years transferred 21,200 ETH to Bitfinex on September 19, according to Odaily. Citing on-chain analyst Weiming's monitoring, the cumulative profit from this transfer is reported at $66.45 million (approximately 92.2 billion KRW). Odaily noted that the address withdrew 112,100 ETH from Bitfinex three years ago, with an initial value of $227 million (about 314.8 billion KRW) when ETH was priced around $2,030.

With Ethereum trading above $2,600, approximately 2 hours prior to the report, about 21,200 ETH from one of the addresses moved to Bitfinex, valued at roughly $55.93 million (about 77.6 billion KRW). Odaily stated that the address appears to be partially realizing gains.
