Fetch.ai and Newnet Attack Suspected to Be Linked; NTX Plunges Over 70%

A suspected linked wallet attack on Fetch.ai and Newnet has emerged, with approximately $2 million (around ₩27.7 billion) in assets involved. Following the attacks, Newnet's NTX token plummeted more than 70%, hitting an all-time low. BeInCrypto cited Blockaid, a blockchain security firm, reporting that both incidents are connected to the same wallet.

Approximately $1.54 million (around ₩21 billion) in FET tokens were drained from Fetch.ai, while Newnet saw around $452,000 (approximately ₩630 million) in NTX issued. Pecildd reported that approximately 48.5 million NTX tokens were minted during the attack on Newnet. The actual financial impact and subsequent measures remain under further review.
