Filecoin's new FIL supply is expected to drop by about 75% after the October 15 deadline for protocol adjustments. The official Filecoin X account announced that once Protocol Labs and the Filecoin Foundation's vesting ends on October 15, the new FIL supply will decrease by approximately 75%. After the vesting period concludes, block rewards will become the only source of new FIL tokens. Filecoin explained that the future supply situation will be influenced by burn rates and collateral locking scales.
