Flare Founder Proposes XRP Collateralized RLUSD Loans on XRPL

Flare (FLR) founder Hugo Philion has proposed permitting XRP collateralized RLUSD loans on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), allowing users to hold XRP on XRPL, convert it to FXRP, secure RLUSD loans against it, and transfer funds directly back to their XRPL wallets. He explained that while this structure requires operational Wormhole (W) RLUSD bridges and approval from XRPL validators, Flare's smart accounts can facilitate the process.
