Fujitsu to Sell 2nm AI Processor in November 2026

Fujitsu ($6702) announced it will start selling its next-generation AI CPU 'FUJITSU-MONAKA' and AI servers equipped with the processor from November 2026. The CPU production is scheduled to begin in January-March 2027, while server deliveries will commence in April 2027. Fujitsu stated it will supply the processors and servers primarily to Japan and Europe.
The company explained that FUJITSU-MONAKA uses a 3D stacked architecture with TSMC's 2nm process for CPU cores and 5nm for cache and I/O components. Fujitsu confirmed in its 2025 technical documentation that it will outsource the 2nm production of this CPU to TSMC. The processor supports up to 3.8GHz clock speed and 8800MT/s memory transfer rate, with Fujitsu claiming a two-fold higher processing capacity for AI inference compared to other CPUs through dedicated instructions and SVE2 vector operations.
