Funds Went to Kerning City Teams Advances to SCAN 2026 Finals

The world's first digital asset tracking competition, SCAN 2026, will hold its finals on September 28 at 9 a.m. at Monaco Space in Seocho District, Seoul.

Organized by digital asset information company DAsset with global blockchain data platform Chainalysis as the CTF (Capture The Flag) partner, SCAN 2026 aims to enhance cyber security and investigative capabilities related to digital assets.

The finals feature the top 20 teams from an initial pool of 416 teams (754 participants). Among them is 'Funds Went to Kerning City,' a team composed of three members with expertise in smart contract and blockchain infrastructure vulnerability research, plus one forensic specialist from Forensic Base.

The team shared that SCAN 2026 offered a different experience compared to traditional CTF competitions, allowing them to engage deeply with blockchain technology. They noted their prior CTF participation helped them navigate the challenges effectively.

While they acknowledged some initial coordination issues in early stages, the team emphasized leveraging their collective CTF experience and planning to develop tools that reduce AI agent bottlenecks for smoother collaboration during the finals.
