Gate.io Supports Robinhood Chain Meme Coin Trading with $29.58M in 24-Hour Volume

Combined spot and perpetual contract trading volume for Robinhood Chain assets on Gate.io reached approximately $29.58 million over the last 24 hours. Trading centered around meme assets, with both spot and derivatives markets active. According to PANews reporting on July 17, Gate supports six spot pairs and 19 USDT perpetual contracts on Robinhood Chain. Spot trading volume totaled about $16.83 million while perpetual contract volume reached approximately $12.76 million.
Spot market listings included PONS, CASHCAT, PIPEDOG, AINVDA, and BONER. Perpetual contracts featured PONS, CASHCAT, FLYBRAIN, MEMECOIN, SHROOM, AINVDA, FATCOIN, and BONER. In spot trading, PONS and CASHCAT dominated with $12.89 million (about 176 billion won) and $270,420 (about 37.5 million won) respectively for the 24-hour period on Gate's platform.
These figures represent only trading volume within Gate's spot market, not overall market activity or total exchange volumes. Perpetual contracts are derivative products without fixed expiration dates, operating differently from spot markets where users don't hold underlying assets but trade price movements instead. The data confirms that Robinhood Chain supports both spot and derivatives trading within the same ecosystem.
Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 blockchain. It announced plans to expand tokenized real-world assets, decentralized finance products, and trading infrastructure upon mainnet launch on July 1. The chain also facilitates meme coin trading alongside tokenized stocks and on-chain financial services. Earlier reports noted Robinhood Chain's total meme coin volume reached $113.13 million, though this latest data focuses specifically on Gate.io's spot and perpetual markets for supported assets.
