Global Liquidity Radar: 1,129 BTC Inflow to Exchanges as Asian Volume Surges 117%

Bitcoin balances on major exchanges showed a net daily and weekly inflow but continued monthly outflow trends. Trading volumes were highest during European hours, with both Asian and U.S. sessions recording increases compared to the previous day.

CoinGlass reported that as of 1:30 p.m. KST on May 19, total Bitcoin holdings across major exchanges amounted to approximately 2,493,683 BTC. A daily net inflow of about 1,129 BTC was recorded, while a weekly net inflow of 11,460 BTC was observed. However, monthly data showed an outflow of 8,382 BTC, indicating that despite short-term inflows, longer-term balances continued to decline.

Coinbase Pro held the largest balance at 845,715 BTC, with a daily outflow of 40.71 BTC and a weekly inflow of 1,318.69 BTC. Binance followed with 694,110 BTC, recording a daily outflow of 445.88 BTC and a weekly inflow of 7,747.35 BTC. Bitfinex held the third-largest balance at 421,232 BTC, showing a daily inflow of 66.75 BTC and a weekly inflow of 2,167.84 BTC.

Daily top inflows included OKX (916 BTC), Kraken (694 BTC), and Bitfinex (67 BTC). Daily top outflows were led by Binance (-446 BTC), CoinEx (-60 BTC), and Coinbase Pro (-41 BTC).

Trading volume on Binance BTCUSDT reached $574.6 million during Asian hours, $1.35 billion in European hours, and $240.44 million in U.S. hours. Compared to the previous day (Asian: $264.21 million, European: $681.02 million, U.S.: $128.27 million), Asian volume surged by 117%, European volume rose by 122%, and U.S. volume increased by 87%.

European trading hours dominated overall activity with $1.35 billion in volume, followed by Asia and then the U.S., according to regional trends.
