Bitcoin balances on major exchanges have shifted to a short-term net inflow, though monthly trends continue showing outflows. Trading volumes were highest during European hours and lowest during Asian hours.

CoinGlass reported that as of 1:30 PM UTC on the 17th, total Bitcoin held across key exchanges amounted to approximately 2,485,258 BTC. A daily net inflow of about 2,655 BTC occurred, with a weekly net inflow of 4,864 BTC. However, monthly data shows a net outflow of 24,992 BTC, indicating that short-term inflows have not yet reversed the longer-term downward trend in exchange balances.

Coinbase Pro holds the largest balance at 842,947 BTC, recording a daily outflow of 2,207.25 BTC and a weekly outflow of 2,064.79 BTC. Binance follows with 686,218 BTC, reporting a daily inflow of 3,325.98 BTC and a weekly inflow of 5,268.45 BTC. Bitfinex holds third place with 422,240 BTC, showing a daily inflow of 16.46 BTC and a weekly inflow of 1,286.67 BTC.

Daily top inflows: Binance (3,326 BTC), Kraken (1,007 BTC), Bybit (557 BTC). Daily top outflows: Coinbase Pro (-2,207 BTC), Gemini (-133 BTC), CoinEx (-120 BTC).

Trading volume for Binance BTCUSDT across time zones was $37.03 million during Asian hours, $371.79 million during European hours, and $371.8 million during U.S. hours. Compared to the previous day (Asian: $738.62 million, European: $1.04 billion, U.S.: $311.4 million), Asian volume dropped by approximately 59%, European volume fell by about 64%, and U.S. volume decreased by roughly 1%.
