Hamas Directs Donors to Avoid Binance, Use Bybit and OKX Instead

A Hamas military unit, Al-Qassam Brigades, directed donors to use Bybit and OKX instead of Binance in an email disclosed in a U.S. Department of Justice warrant document published on September 1. The email, dated February 10, 2025, instructed recipients to send USDT via the TRC-20 network on Tron and avoid using Binance for purchasing currency before transferring to other applications.
The U.S. Department of Justice stated it seized virtual assets worth over $560,000 (approximately 8 billion KRW) intended for Hamas, along with domains and servers used for fundraising and recruitment.
