Independent lawmaker Han Dong-hoon urged a delay in virtual asset taxation on Thursday, questioning whether rushing such measures was appropriate. According to News1, Han stated on Facebook that he had previously secured a postponement of virtual asset taxation during his time as People Power Party leader. He noted that despite two years passing, concerns remain about insufficient tax preparation. "If income earned without labor is considered 'unearned income,' then real estate taxation should not differ from stock taxation, and national income should not be treated differently from cryptocurrency or other income sources," he said.
