Hanwha Financial Partners with Abu Dhabi on Digital Finance and Stablecoin Payments

Hanwha Financial Group's subsidiaries, including Hanwha Life Insurance, Hanwha General Insurance, Hanwha Investment & Securities, and Hanwha Asset Management, have formed partnerships with United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abu Dhabi financial institutions to advance stablecoin-based international payments and digital finance infrastructure.
On the sidelines of the 'Abu Dhabi Investment Forum (ADIF Seoul)' held in Seoul on the 16th, Hanwha Financial announced it established collaboration relationships with Abu Dhabi Investment & Development Office (ADIO) and Abu Dhabi Global Markets (ADGM) on the 18th.
Hanwha Life Insurance signed a partnership agreement with ADIO for digital finance. The two parties plan to connect financial and capital markets between South Korea and Abu Dhabi, jointly explore digital banking and financial innovation projects, and promote cooperation in building Abu Dhabi's digital finance ecosystem.
Hanwha Asset Management has entered into a partnership with ADGM and Hana Financial Group to build stablecoin-based financial infrastructure. The collaboration aims to expand cross-border payment and remittance solutions between Korea and Abu Dhabi while connecting different financial systems and digital asset networks to form an integrated ecosystem.
Hanwha Financial also signed a partnership for the 'Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2026 (ADFW 2026)' with ADGM, aiming to expand networks with Abu Dhabi financial institutions and global institutional investors, and uncover new investment and financial business opportunities in the Middle East market.
Hanwha Financial plans to gradually expand its collaboration scope in digital finance and capital markets based on existing financial network capabilities.
