HepTon and Tinkware Launch Global Pre-order for 'TinaGio Blackbox D1'

HepTon, a geospatial data technology company, has announced the global pre-order launch of 'TinaGio Blackbox D1,' developed in collaboration with vehicle device specialist Tinkware. The device integrates Tinkware's automotive technology with HepTon's geo-dipin and drive-to-un network technologies to collect real-world road and environmental data during normal driving, connecting it to the TinaGio network.
The product marks the first vehicle device model under a strategic partnership between the two companies. HepTon aims to expand its mobile app-based spatial data collection approach by leveraging in-vehicle devices to continuously gather real-world data during travel. The TinaGio Blackbox D1 features UHD 4K recording, HDR, Sony Starvis 2 image sensor, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz), and an LCD display.
Users can contribute to building spatial data infrastructure without additional effort by simply driving as usual. Data collected is linked to the TinaGio ecosystem, allowing drivers to earn rewards based on activity conditions. HepTon plans to use this data for future applications in mobility, autonomous driving, logistics, mapping, location-based services, robotics, and smart cities.
The recommended retail price is 800,000 won, with a pre-order discount of 25% to 599,000 won. Pre-orders will be delivered starting April 2027. Early buyers will receive exclusive ecosystem benefits and future programs tailored for participants in building the TinaGio device ecosystem.
HepTon plans to expand sales globally beyond Korea to North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia following this pre-order launch. HepTon CEO Seo Moon-gyu stated: 'Vehicle devices are a crucial channel for continuously observing real-world road changes,' adding that combining Tinkware's automotive technology with HepTon's geo-dipin network construction technologies (including edge AI) will help scale practical spatial data validation infrastructure.
