Hive Digital Technologies' Subsidiary Partners with Canadian AI Firm for GPU Infrastructure

Hive Digital Technologies ($HIVE) subsidiary BUZZ HPC has partnered with Canadian AI firm ProCogia to integrate GPU infrastructure and enterprise AI services. The companies plan to jointly target corporate and public sector customers in the U.S. and Europe, with operations based in Canada.

On June 16, Hive Digital Technologies announced that BUZZ HPC had established a strategic partnership with ProCogia in Vancouver. ProCogia will secure dedicated GPU capacity at BUZZ HPC's Canadian data centers to provide large language model (LLM) hosting, customized model training, AI agent development, and data-AI integration services.

The collaboration is designed as a two-way structure: ProCogia will operate its own AI products and customer workloads on BUZZ HPC infrastructure while serving as the preferred partner for AI development and hosting services to BUZZ HPC clients. ProCogia's ZeroBoxx AI framework will primarily utilize BUZZ HPC infrastructure as its cloud platform, with medical voice AI solution CallYeah and PolyKode, which supports code migration in regulated industries, also operating within this computing environment.

Hive Digital Technologies emphasizes its 'full-stack' AI infrastructure based on Canadian data sovereignty. BUZZ HPC provides GPU and Tier-III infrastructure at Canadian data centers, while ProCogia handles model, application, and data integration capabilities atop that infrastructure. The partnership's contract value and specific GPU quantities remain undisclosed.

BUZZ HPC previously secured a three-year $220 million (approximately 299.2 billion KRW) GPU cloud contract with Bell AI Fabric and Cohere in June, deploying 2,304 NVIDIA ($NVDA) Grace Blackwell GPUs at its Merit facility in British Columbia. In August, the company announced a five-year $350 million (approximately 476 billion KRW) GPU cloud service agreement with investment-grade corporate clients, including 2,016 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs, projecting an annual revenue increase of approximately $70 million (95.2 billion KRW).

This new partnership extends Hive Digital Technologies' strategy of expanding AI and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure alongside its cryptocurrency mining operations. The earlier contracts were separate agreements for GPU deployment and cloud services, distinct from the ProCogia partnership.

In May, the company announced plans to develop a 320MW AI infrastructure facility in Toronto's Greater Metropolitan Area, capable of accommodating over 100,000 GPUs with an expected operational launch by the second half of 2027. The 320MW figure represents the power capacity available for data centers; actual GPU capacity and operational timing may vary based on subsequent construction, power acquisition, and equipment installation processes.

Data sovereignty in AI infrastructure refers to operating data and computing resources under specific country's legal and regulatory frameworks. This partnership presents a structure supporting enterprise customers' AI model development and operations through Canadian data centers. No independent analyst or investor evaluations of the partnership were provided in public materials.

Hive Digital Technologies classified the expected outcomes of the partnership, joint sales efforts, GPU demand conversion to revenue, and U.S./European co-marketing as forward-looking information. The company noted that equipment installation delays, changes in customer demand, power costs, operational expenses, regulatory environment, and capital financing conditions could impact actual results.
