Houthi rebels have claimed to launch dozens of missiles and drones at a military base in southern Saudi Arabia, escalating clashes between the two sides. Saudi east-west oil pipelines were suspended following last week's attacks, with Reuters reporting Brent crude up 2.77% and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude up 2.27% as of 8:13 a.m. on April 15.

Oman announced the postponement of talks scheduled between Iran and Gulf states to discuss reopening the Hormuz Strait, with no specific resumption date provided.
