Hyperliquid's 30-Day Perpetual Futures Volume Hits $24 Billion

Hyperliquid (HYPE)'s recent 30-day perpetual futures trading volume has reached $24 billion (approximately KRW 328.8 trillion), the largest among public blockchains and ecosystems. CryptoRank reported this figure, which was shared by Ublockchain on the 17th.
Abitrum (ARB) came in second with $47.2 billion (KRW 64.664 trillion), while Solana (SOL) secured third place at $46 billion (KRW 63.2 trillion). Hyperliquid's volume is approximately 5.1 times higher than Abitrum's and about 2.6 times larger than the combined volume of Abitrum and Solana ($93.2 billion / KRW 127.684 trillion).
The next platforms in line were Lighter (Ligher) at $45.6 billion (KRW 62.472 trillion), Ethereum (ETH) mainnet at $44.9 billion (KRW 61.513 trillion), and edgeX at $42.3 billion (KRW 57.951 trillion). Among the top six platforms, five had volumes ranging from $42.3 billion to $47.2 billion, with a significant gap between Hyperliquid and the second place.
Perpetual futures are derivative products traded without fixed expiration dates, allowing traders to maintain positions while responding to price movements. This report is based solely on perpetual futures trading volume, not spot trading. Trading volume represents the total value of trades executed within a period and differs from metrics like user count, fee revenue, or open interest.
Abitrum recorded the highest rank among general-purpose blockchains. The unique aspect of this ranking is that it compares specialized platforms for perpetual futures trading with general-purpose blockchains. Solana ranked third with $12 billion (KRW 1.644 trillion) less volume than Abitrum, and the gap between second and third places was much smaller compared to Hyperliquid's lead over second place.
Lighter and Ethereum mainnet recorded volumes of $45.6 billion and $44.9 billion, respectively. Including edgeX, five platforms reported trading volumes in the $40 billion range. In a previous report, Hyperliquid's 30-day perpetual futures volume was listed at $223 billion, but this figure comes from different reporting bodies and timeframes, making direct comparisons difficult.
While perpetual futures volume indicates active trading, it does not reflect platform profitability or user base size. The data provided does not include details on the composition of trading volumes, fee revenue, open interest, or user numbers, nor does it specify which assets or trading pairs generated this activity. Thus, the ranking should be interpreted as a comparison of perpetual futures trading activity across public blockchains and ecosystems.
