Hyperliquid HYPE Burns 36,700 Tokens in Latest Buyback

Hyperliquid recently bought and burned 36,700 Hyperliquid (HYPE) tokens over a 24-hour period, amounting to approximately $2.84 million (about ₩386.2 billion). On-chain lens data shows that as of 9 PM KST on June 16, Hyperliquid purchased HYPE at an average weighted trading price of $77.31 per token for burning. The cumulative burned amount has now reached 48.67 million tokens. Current market value stands at approximately $3.78 billion (about ₩514.08 billion), representing 4.87% of HYPE's maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. Burning involves purchasing tokens from the market and permanently removing them from circulation. However, the burn size alone does not determine HYPE's price or trading demand direction.
