Injective Labs Policy Head Says Clarity Act Offers Opportunity to Secure Virtual Asset Regulatory Permanence

John Medel, policy lead at Injective Labs, said the proposed U.S. virtual asset market structure bill, the Clarity Act, could offer long-term certainty to current regulatory policies.

According to CoinTelegraph on April 14 (local time), Medel stated that the Clarity Act is being discussed as regulatory agencies have already begun implementing broad and ambitious policy initiatives.

He explained that while executive branch and regulatory agency-level policies could change direction in the future, legislative action by Congress could strengthen institutional foundations. He emphasized that the Clarity Act presents an opportunity to provide permanence to current regulatory directions.
