IOG Warns Users to Avoid Suspicious YouTube Channels Linked to Cardano

Input Output Global (IOG), the developer behind Cardano, has warned users to avoid accessing or interacting with a YouTube channel suspected of being compromised. IOG stated that a live broadcast on the channel appeared to feature manipulated footage of Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, created using artificial intelligence (AI). The channel's compromise is currently under investigation. IOG emphasized in its official guidance that fake live streams impersonating Hoskinson or other Cardano representatives could attempt to direct users to send ADA to fraudulent wallet addresses, advising users not to click on links from unverified live streams.
