IRF Acquires Nomina, AI Agent-Focused DeFi Infrastructure

IRF has acquired the decentralized finance infrastructure research institution Nomina, which develops infrastructure for AI agents. In its official announcement, IRF stated that the acquisition includes technology, intellectual property, brand, and infrastructure, with the core asset being Nomina's Intent Execution Protocol Solvnet.

IRF also revealed that Nomina's infrastructure has processed over 7.5 million transactions to date. Solvnet operates across major layer-2 networks including Ethereum mainnet, Arbitrum, Base, and Optimism, and integrates with protocols such as Symphonic, Gearbox Protocol, and Signus Finance.

IRF plans to launch on-chain yield allocation, cross-chain and currency fund movement, and automated asset allocation and rebalancing features based on Solvnet within the next several months. Each strategy will be expressed through a single intent, with Solvnet's solver network executing it, according to IRF.
