JPMorgan-Backed Partior Partners with LSEG to Build 24-Hour Blockchain Payment Network

Partior, the blockchain-based interbank payment network jointly established by JPMorgan, DBS Bank, and Temasek, announced it has partnered with LSEG's DiSH payment infrastructure to build a 24-hour international settlement system. The collaboration combines LSEG DiSH's custodial accounts with Partior's multi-currency settlement and payment network to create a solution that allows near real-time movement of liquidity between multiple banks across the globe.
The initiative aims to reduce the burden on banks requiring pre-funded nostro and vostro accounts for interbank payments, as well as decrease reliance on traditional international transfer settlement cut-off times.
