Kamino Appoints Michael Weisz, Co-Founder of Yieldstreet, as CEO

Kamino, a Solana (SOL)-based decentralized finance (DeFi) lending protocol, has appointed Michael Weisz, co-founder of investment platform Yieldstreet, as its new CEO. According to CoinDesk, Kamino plans to expand tokenized real-world asset-backed lending services, including blockchain-based mortgage loans, by strengthening relationships with Wall Street financial firms. The company is also advancing plans to establish a New York headquarters and intends to hire a chief financial officer (CFO) and legal counsel in the near future.
