Predictive market platform Kaspi is reportedly seeking a minimum of $750 million (approximately 1.2 trillion won) in funding at a $40 billion (roughly 54.4 trillion won) company valuation, according to a recent report. Chinese media outlet Masbit reported that Kaspi has significantly increased its company valuation from $22 billion six months ago as it seeks new capital. Kaspi is a platform approved by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in 2021 as a designated contract market.
As of September 4, Masbit reported that Kaspi's recent 30-day trading volume stood at $14.1 billion (approximately 1.918 trillion won), while Polymarket recorded $3.1 billion (roughly 422 billion won). The report noted that Kaspi accounted for approximately 82% of the combined trading volume between the two platforms, with over 80% of Kaspi's trading volume coming from sports event contracts.
