Kazakh Central Bank to Establish National Cryptocurrency Analysis Center

Kazakh Central Bank Governor Timur Suleimenov announced plans to establish a national-level cryptocurrency analysis center. The central bank will oversee the monitoring of cryptocurrency transactions through its supervisory technology platform, SupTech, which will analyze data including fiat and crypto transactions, customer information, wallets, and trade details. The center will connect with the National Bank's fraud prevention center and provide verification tools for banks, law enforcement agencies, and licensed cryptocurrency service providers. Kazakhstan's annual cryptocurrency trading volume is reported at $10.6 billion.
