Kevin Warsh, chair of the U.S. Federal Reserve, emphasized that inflation has remained at an excessively high level for too long, calling price stability the Fed's top priority.

According to a report from Walter Bloomberg on Friday (local time), Warsh stated that inflation is 'too high and has persisted at a high level for too long.'

He noted that many items with inflation rates exceeding 3% remain overly elevated, highlighting ongoing broad-based price pressures. Warsh added that the Fed's most important focus is on price stability.
