Kevin Warsh Refuses to Disclose Trump Conversation Details

Kevin Warsh, Federal Reserve Chair, has refused to disclose the contents of his discussions with President Donald Trump. According to AP, Warsh told senators on July 15 that he did not wish to share 'the discussions I've had with the president.' He stated that he repeatedly conveyed to Trump his commitment to operating the Fed independently and resisting political pressure.

Democratic Senators Jack Reed and three others demanded on August 20 that Warsh release details of his conversations with Trump, arguing that private communications could suggest White House influence over monetary policy.
