Kite Partners with Circle to Build AI Agent Payment System on Arc

Kite, an artificial intelligence (AI) agent payment infrastructure project, has partnered with Circle, the issuer of stablecoin USDC, to build a service transaction system for AI agents on the Arc platform.

According to Blockbits on October 18, Kite and Circle are developing a system that allows AI agents to search for services, negotiate prices, and complete transactions including service provision and verification, all settled in USDC.

Kite provides support through its 'Kite Seller Console' and 'Kite Agent Passport,' enabling sellers to set pricing, duration, and verification conditions while buyers can approve payments within predefined spending limits. Funds held in escrow are released upon confirmation of service delivery.

Kite handles the service contract and provision process, while Circle's Layer 1 blockchain Arc serves as the USDC payment and settlement network.
