Korbit Rebrands to 'Digital X' as Mirae Asset Integration Completes

Mirae Asset's digital asset investment platform Korbit will change its service name to 'Digital X (Digital X)' starting October 16. Following a corporate name change in August, this rebranding marks the completion of the brand integration process since joining Mirae Asset Group.

Digital X will replace the previous 'Korbit' name across all user touchpoints including domain, mobile app icon, and brand identity (BI) from October 16. The company stated that this is a follow-up to the August corporate name change as part of its phased integration of both corporate and service branding since joining Mirae Asset Group.

Digital X has warned users to be cautious of phishing attempts during the service rebranding process, advising against using text messages or websites claiming to be related to the rebranding and instead checking official channels for updates.

The company plans to gradually expand its digital asset products and services by leveraging Mirae Asset Group's financial infrastructure and customer base. Digital X CEO Oh Se-jin stated that this rebranding marks 'the beginning of a new leap together with Mirae Asset Group' and committed to sequentially launching more products and services in the future.
