PANews reported that KOSPI broke through the 6900 level and rose 2.76% during trading on the 18th, but this does not align with domestic market data. According to the Korea Exchange, as of 9:18 a.m. on the 18th, KOSPI stood at 6866.86, up 151.45 points (2.26%) from the previous trading day. The index opened at 6885.70 but failed to reach the 6900 level. It did not surpass 6900 throughout the day, and no domestic market data supports a 2.76% intraday rise as reported by PANews.
