Kraken Parent Company Partners with Hyperliquid to Launch US On-Chain Perpetual Futures

Payward, the parent company of Kraken, is advancing plans to provide on-chain perpetual futures to U.S. customers via Hyperliquid's public blockchain. Once regulatory approval is secured, the new contracts will be listed under the rules of Bitnomial Exchange, which falls under the oversight of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). According to CoinDesk, Payward announced on June 16 (local time) that it intends to utilize Hyperliquid's HIP-3 market for offering perpetual futures trading to U.S. clients. Transactions will be executed and recorded directly on Hyperliquid's public blockchain.
