Kremlin Supports Trump's Russia-Ukraine Energy Ceasefire Proposal

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s administration, known as the Kremlin, has stated its support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to halt attacks on each other’s energy infrastructure by Russia and Ukraine.

According to a report from Bloomberg News on Thursday, the Kremlin described Trump’s suggestion of a ceasefire targeting energy facilities as "a good idea." Trump had previously claimed that both sides had agreed to cease attacks on energy infrastructure. The Kremlin welcomed the proposal.

The Kremlin also called for the removal of sanctions on Russian energy supplies, arguing that lifting these measures would lead to lower global energy prices.
