Kyrgyzstan Central Bank Partners with CertiK on CBDC Security and Digital Asset Regulation

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan (NBKR) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with blockchain security company CertiK, according to Blockbits. The two parties will collaborate on securing the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), known as Digital Som, along with digital asset regulation and cybersecurity. Additionally, they plan to conduct education programs on anti-money laundering (AML), digital asset custody, security standards, and licensing.
