Linera Halts Project After Token Sale Fails to Meet Funding Goal

Layer-1 blockchain Linera has announced it will cease operations following its failure to meet the target fundraising amount in its own token LNRA community sale. Co-founder Mathieu Baudet stated on Discord that 'due to the fundraising failure, Linera will immediately and temporarily halt operations.' He explained that the token sale conducted through Sonar raised approximately $900,000 in committed funds but did not meet the minimum required amount for finalization. All commitments have been refunded to participants. Baudet added that despite efforts to secure emergency funding to maintain company operations until mainnet launch, sufficient capital was not secured, leading to the decision to discontinue the project.
