Malaysian Gang Sentenced for $3.9M Crypto Heist at Singapore Mansion

Six Malaysians have been sentenced to prison terms ranging from seven years and eight months to twelve years and eleven months after breaking into a luxury home in Singapore last April, stealing approximately $3.9 million in cash and cryptocurrency.

The gang entered the residence with knives and baseball bats, binding 11 victims before accessing cryptocurrency apps on their phones and transferring assets from one victim's account. After fleeing to Malaysia, they converted some of the stolen crypto into cash and split it among themselves. One accomplice remains at large.
