Micron ($MU) has launched the Micron Research Labs, a U.S. research facility that will receive a $10 billion investment over 10 years. The lab, headquartered in Boise, Idaho, aims to advance memory technology, computing architectures, advanced packaging, and next-generation semiconductor manufacturing. In a press release on October 20, Micron stated the lab will collaborate with universities, government entities, startups, and industry partners to develop memory and computing technologies needed for the AI era.
