Moscow Exchange to Launch Bitcoin Perpetual Futures on 22nd

Moscow Exchange announced it will launch perpetual futures tied to a basket of five virtual assets including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, and Tron (TRX) on October 22. The exchange revealed the details on October 16, stating that the contracts will be auto-extended daily and available only to qualified investors. Settlement will occur in dollars with cash settlement in Russian rubles, though physical delivery of the underlying assets will not take place.
The Bitcoin Historian's X account claimed on October 17 that Moscow Exchange's move indicates the U.S. is lagging behind, but provided no specific evidence to support this assertion.
