NexaSS stated that by adding Emblok Company to Origin Chain's validators, it is expanding the network's validation participants.
Emblok, a blockchain-focused subsidiary of Maeil Media, operates validation nodes and provides digital asset information and content. It has previously participated as a validator on multiple blockchains including Kaiya, XPLA, ZetaChain, and Injective.
With this addition, Emblok will operate its own node infrastructure to participate in block creation, transaction verification, and network security maintenance for Origin Chain Mainnet 2.0.
Validators are entities that verify transactions and participate in creating new blocks on a blockchain network. Origin Chain's Mainnet 2.0 'Breakpoint' operates using a Proof-of-Stake Authority (PoSA) mechanism where validators handle block creation.
Validators must meet certain staking requirements, keep nodes operational at all times, and actively contribute to network operations. Previously, Origin Chain validators included H-Lab, Stetic, and Onestore. NexaSS plans to continue expanding the pool of validator participants.
