Novogratz Warns Delay in Clarity Act Could Prolong US Crypto Regulatory Vacuum

Mike Novogratz, CEO of Galaxy Digital, warned that if the Clarity Act does not make progress in the U.S. Senate by September 15 (local time), a regulatory vacuum for virtual assets in America could persist long-term. In a post on X, Novogratz stated that without advancement of the bill by that date, the U.S. might never establish lasting crypto regulations, harming the country and potentially driving more related businesses overseas. He emphasized that while digital and blockchain revolutions will continue, prolonged uncertainty is undesirable even if the SEC and CFTC take two more years to finalize rules.
