Nvidia ($NVDA) Commits $2 Billion to Brookfield's Global AI Infrastructure Fund

Nvidia ($NVDA) has reportedly committed $2 billion (approximately 2.762 trillion won) to Brookfield Asset Management ($BAM)'s Global AI Infrastructure Fund. The fund will invest in AI factories and power/computing infrastructure. Bloomberg reported on the 18th, citing investor documents that revealed for the first time the previously undisclosed specific investment amount. Nvidia and Kuwait Investment Authority are key investors in the fund. Bloomberg also noted that Brookfield aims to raise $10 billion (approximately 13.81 trillion won) for its AI infrastructure fund and plans to gather up to $50 billion (approximately 69.5 trillion won) over the next two years for infrastructure projects. Nvidia's AI computing infrastructure financing platform, announced last month, aims to mobilize over $500 billion (approximately 690.5 trillion won) in third-party capital with financial institutions including Brookfield.
