OESL Adds Five Currencies to Payment Network for Fiat Conversion Expansion

OESL Group (863.HK) has added a five-currency payment network including Australian dollar, British pound, Hong Kong dollar, Singapore dollar, and US dollar to its existing euro payment system. The move expands the infrastructure allowing institutional clients to seamlessly switch between stablecoins and fiat currencies for payments, currency exchange, and settlement. Banking Circle announced on 15th that it will provide OESL with a five-currency payment infrastructure, connecting banking accounts and currency-specific payment networks to support OESL's business-to-business (B2B) expansion. This partnership enables OESL's platforms to integrate fiat payment, digital asset exchange, and liquidity management functions. Institutional clients can now receive, convert, and settle fiat currencies across multiple jurisdictions without separate contracts with banks in each region. The process utilizes Banking Circle's 'BC-Now' network, which supports 24/7 instant transfers with no business hour restrictions for fund transfers and multi-currency internal settlements.

OESL Group Chief Operating Officer Eugene Cheung stated that "the next step in digital asset adoption will be driven by actual payment demand," adding that businesses want to freely switch between fiat currencies and stablecoins. He emphasized the need for infrastructure that complies with regulations, is scalable, and internationally connected. OESL continues to expand its payment infrastructure connecting stablecoins with fiat currencies, following previous support for USDGO/HKD trading on OESL Hong Kong. This collaboration focuses on linking fiat currency payments, exchange, and settlement rather than stablecoin issuance, with specific service launch dates, currency-specific terms, and target regions not yet disclosed.
